A fourteen nights Kenya Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar Beach Holiday to experience all the best of Kenya’s wildlife and Zanzibar’s beaches.
DAY 1: Nairobi
Take a flight from Dar es Salaam, Maputo to Nairobi.
On arrival at Nairobi Airport1 you’ll be transferred to Fairmont Norfolk Hotel for your first night stay on half board basis.
DAY 2: Masai Mara
You’ll depart Nairobi and drive to the Masai Mara National Game Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Afternoon game drive until sunset before retiring to the lodge for the night.
DAY 3: Masai Mara GR Whole day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Retire to the lodge for the night.
DAY 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
Continue to the Lake Nakuru National Park famous as the home to thousands of flamingoes. This pad: also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, rhino and leopard. Afternoon game drive until sunset before retiring to the lodge for the night.
DAY 5: Amboseli N.P
Drive back to Nairobi for lunch and proceed to the Amboseli National Park lying below the most famous symbol of Africa -Mount Kilimanjaro. Don’t forget to click the famous photographs of elephants with unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro in the background! Afternoon game drive before mixing to the lodge for the night.
DAY 6: Amboseli N.P
Full day game viewing in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Retire to the lodge for the night.
DAY 7: Tsavo N.P
Morning drive to Tsavo National Park with game drive. Game viewing in Tsavo is fairly easy. Animals include leopards, Cheetahs, buffalos, rhinos, elephants, giraffe, zebras, lions, and crocodiles. Retire to the lodge for the night.
Day 8: End or Tanzania Wildlife Safari – Start of Zanzibar Beach Holiday
After breakfast drive to Arusha Airport and check in for your flight to Zanzibar.
On arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you’ll be transferred to Serena Inn Hotel for your first four nights stay on full board basis.
DAY 9: Stone Town Tour
You will take an exciting guided half day tour of Zanzibar’s unique Stone town, including visiting the Museums, century old palaces of the Omani Arab rulers. The rest of the day can be spent lazing by the pool in your hotel, or even exploring the world famous Zanzibar Stone town.
DAY 10: Prison Island
You’ll be visiting Prison Island a 30minute motorized boat ride from Zanzibar’s water from. Here one can have a delightful swim, snorkel or opt for feeding the Giant Tortoise on this Island. After returning from your tour, the rest of the day can be spent by visiting famous curio shops, bazaars just walking distance away from the hotel.
DAY 11: Jozani Forest
You’ll be visiting Jozani forest -to witness the rave colombus monkeys found only in Zanzibar. In the evening you’ll be going for a guided leisurely evening walk through the narrow streets of Stone town to mingle with almost every person in their diverse attire attending to many exotic bazaars and witness sun setting in. This will be your last night of your holiday in Stone Town, before you head eastwards to experience world renowned Zanzibar Beaches.
DAY 2 – 14: Blue Bay Beach Resort
You’ll be transferred to Blue Bay Beach Resort where you’ll be staying on fullboard basis for the remaining three nights to enjoy lovely white sandy beaches and laze away the last days of your holiday. Just off the shores lie many different coral reefs, home to many colorful tropical fish and one can spend hours exploring the underwater world and its inhabitants.
DAY 15: End of Zanzibar Island Holiday
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport and check in for your flight back to Nairobi or Dar es Salaam.
